Our experience with Leonard Homes has been amazing. Peter has been incredibly efficient and super easy to deal with. He accomplished in a week what other companies failed to do in 4+ months, or didn't do at all. He provided plans and quotes quickly and without issue. The process of back-and-forth communication to get everything right was smooth and easy. Although we haven't started construction yet due to external factors, we are looking forward to receiving the same great service when we do.

Leonard Homes (Pete Simpson) were very professional and spent time to understand our needs, which involved the complete knockdown of my daughter Sharon's old Toowong Queenslander and the new build of a Modern Dual Living home. The new build design we selected/modified off the web - a Leonard Homes Fixed Price Contract was signed - building commenced August 2022 at a time when building materials were difficult to source and cost escalations were rampant - Pete delivered a quality steel frame structure on a difficult sloping site with overland water flow issues - Pete was on site often and always happy for us to attend - the house was substantially complete by in under 12 months - sub-contractor and certification issues did delay handover till Sept/Oct 23 I would not hesitate to recommend Pete Simpson and Leonard Homes to anyone contemplating a new build Pete has a wealth of knowledge and a wide range of contacts, with both suppliers and sub-contactor's. Pete insists on quality work from all sub-contractors and insists work be redone when necessary to ensure a 5 star finish

Working with Peter from Leonard Homes was seamless from start to finish. He kept us updated with every part of the process of our build. Being our first home we were eager to be involved as much as possible, he was more than happy to meet us for walk throughs, and always available for our countless questions. Seeing what is going on in the building industry, we would never build with anyone else. The trust we had and still have in Peter is priceless. I recently had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Dean from Leonard Homes Brisbane West. My wife and I engaged him and his company to provide us with a quote for a new semi-custom home that we were looking to build on our acreage block in the western suburbs of Kenmore. From the onset, Dean was quick to take my initial call and was easy to talk to over the phone. He readily made the time to come out to our site over the weekend in his own time to have a look at our land and provide me with a quality service. Before he came, I sent Dean several files on information about our property along with printouts of several floor plans and ideas of what were were hoping to achieve. I was very impressed when Dean rocked up to our meeting with a giant A2 folder filled with printouts of all our plans and information. From there, he walked me through his company's process for building and their timeframes for quoting to building as well as the materials used and why. He then took my scribbled drawings and within 24 hours had them turned into a full preliminary drawing set that was exactly what we were after, even including external dimensions! One of the main benefits of dealing with Leonard West is that you aren't talking to a sales person who is walking you through a flashy spec'd out house but who doesn't know the first thing about the building process. When your talking with Dean, you're dealing with the owner, the builder, the estimator and the salesperson all in one. You're getting the full package instead of an overpriced salesperson selling you an empty dream. He'll walk you through a current building project so you can actually see what his houses look like and not just a display home tat's different to the finished products for customers like so many of the big builders out there. In less than 72 hours after contacting Dean, we had a building quote in our hands that was easy to read and understand and even broke down each aspect of the quote so you could see what each part of the house cost. Most impressively, Dean was the only company that I had quote our job who actually Tok the time to read my specifications list and include the correct allowances for the concrete required as well the right sizes and profiles for my skirting and cornicing as well as the right appliances that I wanted instead of simply doing what everyone else seems to do and just apply their standard allowance. My finished quote was competitive and personalised to me and my job. It was exactly what we wanted and the entire process was made enjoyable simply through Dean's professionalism and detailed approach to the way he operates. Given the amount of poor work and unprofessionalism going on in the building community at the moment, dealing with Dean was a breath of fresh air that made us feel excited about building a home again. Although ultimately we decided not to pursue building our house right now due to the current economic climate, when we revisit this decision in the next 12-24 months, I will be looking forward to working with Dean when it comes to that point. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking to build in Brisbane.
